What you will do

• Lead financial architectural design for Global E-Invoicing and E-Taxation mandates across Middle Europe (MEU) and Middle East & Africa (MEA).
• Implement country-specific mandates, including ZATCA in Saudi Arabia, VAT reporting, and Intrastat filings for EU member states.
• Configure SAP FI (G/L, AP, AR) and CO (Cost Center Accounting, CO-PA) to handle structured electronic formats and ensure accurate data flow.
• Manage complex integrations with local systems and external government portals via EDI/IDoc.
• Lead end-to-end testing phases (Unit, Integration, and UAT) using INT4 and Tricentis Tosca platforms.
• Design and maintain SAF-T outputs and oversee Continuous Transaction Controls (CTC) to prevent financial discrepancies.

Requirements

• Experience: 10+ years as an SAP FI/CO Consultant with at least three full-cycle implementations involving complex tax localization.
• Deep knowledge of SAP FI (G/L, AR/AP, Fixed Assets, Bank Accounting) and SAP CO (Overhead Cost Controlling and Product Costing).
• Expert-level understanding of EU VAT directives and national electronic reporting standards (e.g., XRechnung, KSeF).
• Experience with ZATCA (Saudi Arabia) Phase 2 and the UAE's upcoming E-Invoicing System (EES).

Nice to have

• SAP Certification in FI, CO, or S/4HANA Finance.
• Specialized certifications in SAP Tax Compliance or DRC.
• Hands-on experience with the Document and Reporting Compliance (DRC) framework.
