What you will do

• Conduct comparative legal and regulatory research on cooperative legislation and related legal instruments across NENA countries.
• Assess the alignment of national regulations with international standards, including ICA principles and ILO Recommendation No. 193.
• Develop sound, policy-relevant knowledge products to support evidence-based dialogue and institutional coordination.
• Provide technical legal support to strengthen cooperative-enabling legislative and regulatory frameworks.
• Collaborate with the RNE Cooperative Development Expert, Legal Officer, and Rural Institution Specialist to deliver project outputs.

Requirements

• Advanced university degree in Law (or a Bachelor's degree with at least two additional years of relevant professional experience).
• Work experience in at least one country of the NENA region.
• Proven results-focus and ability to deliver technical legal analyses.
• Experience in international law, business law, agricultural, or rural development is considered an asset.
