What you will do

• Support product development of custom magnetic products, including concept work and modeling of component parts and assemblies.
• Develop manufacturing-level drawings and controls while liaising with sourcing and PCB manufacturers.
• Provide daily technical support to the engineering team and address questions from internal and external customers.
• Ensure Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and determine control aspects for raw materials, sub-assemblies, and finished goods.
• Manage raw material selection for PCBs, including laminate and trace, and assist in identifying suitable suppliers.
• Establish and maintain PCB design rules to meet safety regulatory standards throughout EVT, DVT, and PVT design cycles.

Requirements

• Experience in R&D magnetic design and component modeling.
• Ability to develop manufacturing-level drawings and technical controls.
• Knowledge of PCB standards, including packaging and safety regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency in using mechanical simulation packages to assess prototyping suitability.
• Ability to collaborate with Quality Engineering (QE) for failure analysis and remediation.
