What you will do

• Design flight control and autopilot algorithms for high-speed vehicles in atmospheric and exo-atmospheric regimes.
• Implement advanced adaptive and robust control strategies to ensure performance under dynamic conditions.
• Conduct 3DOF/6DOF modeling and simulation to evaluate system stability and robustness.
• Integrate control algorithms into real-time embedded systems in collaboration with avionics and flight software teams.
• Support HIL testing and post-flight analysis to drive system-level improvements.
• Mentor junior engineers and establish best practices in GNC development.

Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in control system design for aerospace or high-performance dynamic systems.
• Expertise in classical and modern control theory (adaptive, nonlinear, robust).
• Experience developing autopilot algorithms for missiles, rockets, or hypersonic vehicles.
• Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink and 3DOF/6DOF simulation environments.
• U.S. citizenship is required to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
