Estimated Hourly Pay Range: $45 USD

What you will do

• Take ownership of products from concept to mass production.
• Prototype and analyze mechanical systems for enterprise hardware requirements (mounting, sealing, environmental resistance, thermal performance, tamper resistance).
• Design parts for mass-manufacturing, including DFM/DFA, validation testing, vendor collaboration, and tooling bring-up.
• Collaborate with cross-functional team including Electrical Engineers and Industrial Designers.

Requirements

• Pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering or related fields.
• Available for Fall 2026 Co-op, preferably 4-8 months.
• Strong understanding of strength of materials, thermodynamics, and manufacturing.
• Experience with 3D CAD software.
• Experience with rapid prototyping, building, and testing hardware.
• Passion for user-centric design.
