What you will do

• Architect and implement low-level engine systems across Scene Graph, networking, and analytics.
• Design stable, forward-thinking APIs that expose engine capabilities through Verse for internal and external developers.
• Collaborate with core engine and gameplay teams to build versatile solutions.
• Help shape and unlock the capabilities of the Verse language within Unreal Engine.
• Drive technical excellence through debugging, optimization, and system reliability across multiple platforms.

Requirements

• Strong C++ skills and experience architecting game systems and tools.
• Experience creating and maintaining APIs with strong backward compatibility requirements.
• Proven problem-solving skills and ability to navigate ambiguity.
• Experience writing performant code for multiple hardware platforms, including game consoles.
• Proficiency in multiple programming languages and leveraging their strengths effectively.
• Must be based in or be able to work from CA, NYC, or WA
