Staff Investment Engineer (C++/Unreal)

Location: Flexible remote role with geographic pay variation; Seattle is provided as an example location.

Salary: $190,000–$285,000 USD per year

Develop a new PlayStation franchise within a cross-disciplinary game development environment.

What you will do

• Architect and maintain production-quality player investment systems, workflows, and tools in C++ with Unreal Engine 5.
• Build player progression systems for an unannounced game from pre-production through production and beyond.
• Provide technical guidance on system interfaces, constraints, and best practices.
• Collaborate daily with designers and other disciplines to create new gameplay experiences.

Requirements

• Write, debug, and maintain production code in C++.
• Design and build networked game systems supporting long-term player pursuits.
• Develop with Unreal Engine.
• Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience working on a live service game.
• Experience developing for PC and console platforms.
• Experience mentoring or managing engineers.
