What you will do

• Support design of fault-tolerant electrical systems for radiation environments.
• Simulate and model GTO/GEO radiation on PCBA designs.
• Coordinate and run radiation testing campaigns to qualify components.
• Develop fault-tolerant systems and operations in collaboration with the team.
• Support electrical design, bringup, and test activities.
• Assist in recruiting and hiring for the growing team.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in nuclear engineering, electrical engineering, physics, or equivalent.
• Passion for hardware development in fast-paced environments with hands-on design.
• Experience with electrical design.
• Experience designing and testing for radiation effects.
• Experience testing analog and digital circuits.
• Experience with fault-tolerant high-reliability systems.
• US Citizenship, Green Card, Lawful Permanent Residency, or Refugee/Asylee status.

Nice to have

• Experience developing electrical designs in space or high-radiation environments.
• Experience with Geostationary radiation (TID, SEE, DDD).
• Experience running tests at radiation labs.
• Experience designing dosimeter circuits.
• ECAD + MCAD experience (Altium, Solidworks).
