What you will do

• Investigate and analyze residential, commercial, and industrial properties to resolve legal claims.
• Conduct site evaluations for contract disputes, installation deficiencies, and structural assessments.
• Gather photographic evidence and oversee field-testing of on-site conditions.
• Prepare detailed oral and written reports documenting causes of failure and remediation recommendations.
• Provide professional opinions and expert testimony in litigated matters.

Requirements

• Must reside in upstate New York (Buffalo or Syracuse area preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in civil or structural engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of engineering experience in design or forensic consulting.
• PE license in New York is required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for daily field travel (50% of the role).
• Physical ability to lift 50 lbs and perform inspections in confined spaces or at elevated heights.
