What you will do

• Develop and maintain core RESTful APIs using Ruby on Rails.
• Design and implement backend infrastructure with Terraform in collaboration with SREs.
• Write unit and integration tests with QA team using RSpec.
• Integrate platform with bank core services and APIs.
• Build internal data pipelines and BI tools.
• Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, scaling sessions, and provide technical leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant technology field or equivalent.
• 8+ years of engineering/IT experience; prior technical or team lead experience.
• Hands-on experience with Ruby, Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL, ActiveRecord, RSpec unit tests.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins; ability to build/consume CLI tools.
• Experience in Agile environments; strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Solid understanding of modern software practices, IT security, and complex solutions.

Nice to have

• Experience with IaC (Terraform), high TPS API systems (~100 TPS).
• Shipping highly-available (99.99%) enterprise B2B SaaS products.
