What you will do

• Create the technical strategy for key platform systems to support business and departmental growth.
• Provide architectural leadership across interdependent engineering teams, systems, and business departments.
• Design and connect systems to ensure discoverable and clean customer data across marketing, operations, and product teams.
• Mentor teammates to level up their technical design and Ruby on Rails skillset.
• Contribute to architecture design and code reviews for all key application functional components.
• Support QA and validation activities to ensure system quality, functionality, and performance.

Requirements

• 10+ years of software development experience with a focus on designing systems architecture.
• 8+ years of professional experience with Ruby on Rails.
• Proven experience building SaaS applications in the cloud (AWS) within Agile and TDD environments.
• Demonstrated experience leading projects from inception to completion and mentoring other engineers.
• Deep understanding of API design and best practices for building well-documented third-party integrations.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
