What you will do

• Design and build scalable backend systems and APIs to support mobile and web applications.
• Architect and maintain microservices-based architectures to handle payments and large-scale operations.
• Ensure high code quality, scalability, and performance across the system.
• Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior engineers.
• Debug complex issues across the stack and contribute to technical decision-making.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex business problems.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience with Ruby on Rails.
• Strong expertise in REST API design and SQL databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL).
• Proven experience with microservices architecture and Docker.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins).
• Knowledge of message bus systems and payment integrations (Stripe, PayPal).

Nice to have

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience with Salesforce or Mailchimp integrations.
