What you will do
- Help top strategic customers realize quantifiable value, renew contracts, and become references.
- Identify churn risks and expansion opportunities (upsell/cross-sell) for sales.
- Act as account owner ensuring renewal and expansion across functions.
- Maximize product adoption and manage escalations (technical/business).
- Build stakeholder relationships and proactively drive value conversations.
- Keep customers informed on news and own enablement plans for Customer Success.
- Lead cross-functional improvement projects and coach new-hire CSMs; likely lead a small team.
Requirements
- 5+ years in IT leadership at Fortune 1000 company OR strategic customer-facing role at Enterprise IT Software company
- Proven ability to build and grow customer relationships.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and facilitating technical-commercial communication.
- Self-starter with strong executive communication skills (persuasion, negotiation, etc.).
- People management experience.
- Comfortable with CRM/CS tools like Salesforce and Gainsight.
- Project management with budget ownership; understanding of SaaS licensing models.
