What you will do

• Design, build, and test satellite hardware and software within an interdisciplinary team.
• Develop assembly and integration test plans and procedures in collaboration with Electrical, Mechanical, RF, and Propulsion teams.
• Execute test plans using specialized equipment such as thermal chambers, vibration tables, and oscilloscopes.
• Coordinate environmental test efforts and overall assembly and integration processes.

Requirements

• Four-year degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or an equivalent technical field.
• Passion for hands-on hardware design and development in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and communicate strongly.
• Familiarity with spacecraft systems and operations.
• Must be based in San Francisco and work onsite 5 days a week.
• U.S. Citizenship, Lawful Permanent Residency, or Refugee/Asylee Status Required.

Nice to have

• Experience writing Python for interfacing with test equipment and data visualization.
• Proficiency in CAD software.
• Direct electrical or mechanical design experience.
• Ability to debug hardware and software problems under time pressure.
