What you will do
- Become a production expert and collaborate to build reliable systems for autonomous vehicle operations, depot logistics, and vehicle state infrastructure
- Manage availability and performance for core fleet services to meet user demand, with observability and automation
- Participate in full lifecycle of services from design and deployment to operation and refinement
- Design and implement software to improve architecture, telemetry, and deployment for mission-critical fleet services
- Lead incident response for fleet infrastructure and participate in on-call rotation with blameless retrospectives
- Act as technical leader setting direction and guidelines with SREs, SWEs, and PMs
Requirements
- 6+ years architecting and maintaining mission-critical systems in C++, Java, or Python
- Deep-dive performance profiling and large-scale refactoring for maintainability and latency
- Managing massive distributed systems at software-physical fleet intersection
- Defining SLIs/SLOs/SLAs and designing observability systems
- Leading cross-functional initiatives and mentoring engineers
- Bachelor's degree or 8+ years experience in high-growth environment with leadership
