Salary: $180,000 — $247,500 USD

What you will do

• Partner with sales to demonstrate how Databricks solves customer business problems
• Provide technical leadership for customer evaluations and adoptions
• Consult on architectures, implement POCs for data engineering, science, ML projects, and integrations
• Build and present reference architectures, how-tos, and demos
• Promote Databricks open-source projects via meetups, conferences, and webinars
• Travel to customers in your region

Requirements

• 6+ years in customer-facing pre-sales, technical architecture, or consulting
• Experience designing and architecting distributed data systems
• Programming and debugging in Python, Scala, Java, SQL, or R
• Experience supporting Public Sector clients
• Built solutions with AWS, Azure, or GCP
• US Citizen

• Data Engineering technologies (Spark, Hadoop, Kafka)
• Data Warehousing (SQL, OLTP/OLAP/DSS)
• Degree in quantitative discipline (Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Operations Research)
