What you will do
- Lead and evolve the product design practice by establishing scalable processes, standards, and design governance frameworks.
- Act as the voice of the user, ensuring research insights shape product and business decisions from discovery through delivery.
- Oversee and maintain the design system to ensure consistency, scalability, and accessibility across the platform.
- Drive the adoption and integration of AI-powered tools and workflows to improve design efficiency and innovation.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and leadership to define the long-term product vision and UX strategy.
- Mentor designers and foster a high-performing, collaborative, and quality-focused design culture.
Requirements
- Must be based in the United Kingdom.
- Proven experience leading product design in regulated, clinical, healthcare, or high-stakes environments.
- Strong background in UX, interaction design, and product strategy with a portfolio of user-centered solutions.
- Experience scaling design teams and processes within growing technology organizations or startups.
- Technical fluency to collaborate effectively with engineers and understand implementation constraints.
- Familiarity with AI tools and the practical application of AI in product design and development.
