What you will do

• Define and enforce a coherent architectural strategy aligned with product vision and long-term platform evolution.
• Lead structural changes to support scale, extensibility, and AI-enabled supervision capabilities.
• Architect resilient, secure-by-design, and auditable systems capable of operating at petabyte-scale enterprise data volumes.
• Establish governed integration patterns for AI services (LLMs) to accelerate investigator workflows and behavioral signal analysis.
• Prototype and validate architectural approaches through hands-on technical leadership and deep design reviews.
• Coach and mentor engineers to elevate architectural capability across multiple teams.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering and architecture, with progression into senior technical leadership roles.
• Proven ownership of architecture across business-critical, multi-service platforms with direct contribution to design and delivery.
• Strong command of event-driven architectures, data-intensive systems, Java, and Kafka.
• Experience designing and operating cloud-native systems on AWS (primary), Azure, or GCP.
• Background in regulated or compliance-sensitive environments such as financial services, fintech, or payments.
• Must be based in the US or UK

• Practical experience integrating AI/ML or LLM-based services into distributed systems.
