Fund Accountant (Real Assets)

TL;DR

Fund Accountant (Real Assets): Carry out routine day-to-day administration and accounting of fund structures with an accent on calls and distributions, quarterly valuations, investor reporting, and annual financial statements. Focus on bookkeeping operations, preparing bank reconciliations, handling audit queries, and maintaining accurate records in eFront.

Location: Hybrid in St Peter Port, Guernsey. Must hold full Guernsey work rights. No visa sponsorship or work permits offered.

What you will do

• Assist with day-to-day administration and accounting including calls, distributions, valuations, investor reporting, and financial statements
• Bookkeep operations for various fund structures
• Prepare periodic bank reconciliations and transaction documentation
• Handle routine audit queries
• Build relationships with client contacts
• Maintain accurate records in eFront and support trainee induction and training

Requirements

• Full Guernsey work rights required (no visa sponsorship)
• Studying towards relevant professional qualification (ACCA or ACA commenced preferred)
• 1+ years relevant experience, ideally in financial services
• Technical financial services knowledge
• Computer literacy
• Strong interpersonal skills for client and colleague relationships
