What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain embedded software for the Matter protocol stack.
• Lead technical initiatives, mentor junior engineers, and conduct code reviews.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Matter over Thread and Wi-Fi.
• Contribute to Matter open-source standard and support compliance testing.
• Perform debugging with JTAG, GDB, and logic analyzers; optimize performance and memory usage.
• Participate in architecture discussions and develop technical documentation.

Requirements

• Fluency in English with excellent communication skills.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related.
• 6+ years in embedded systems development; strong C++ proficiency.
• Hands-on debugging with GDB, JTAG; networking protocols like Wi-Fi and Thread.
• RTOS, hardware interfaces (UART, SPI, I2C); Python scripting; unit testing; Git/Jira.
• Experience mentoring and leading projects; technical documentation.

Nice to have

• Experience with Matter, HomeKit, simulated/hardware test networks.
• Familiarity with Zephyr, Linux, IPv6, mDNS, secure commissioning.
