What you will do

• Act as technical leader advising on data technology strategies and nurturing engineer growth.
• Develop data flow strategies and define storage for microservices ensuring scalability and alignment.
• Manage cross-application datastore projects focusing on security, governance, and migrations.
• Research emerging datastore technologies for long-term planning.
• Consult on database designs, queries, and optimizations for performance.
• Guide datastore technology selections for transactional and event-driven apps.

Requirements

• 10+ years experience designing scalable datastores, data architectures, and data flows
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or equivalent.
• Expertise in RDBMS and non-RDBMS platforms for microservices and event-driven apps.
• Experience implementing data governance in medium-to-large organizations.
• Strong written and verbal communication to influence across teams.
