What you will do

• Design and build automation solutions and internal tools to streamline delivery and engineering workflows.
• Refactor and modernize existing systems for better scalability, maintainability, and performance.
• Architect backend services, APIs, and data pipelines supporting automation and analytics.
• Integrate AI/LLM capabilities to enhance troubleshooting and developer productivity.
• Lead resolution of complex production issues with deep root-cause analysis and long-term fixes.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Delivery teams to drive adoption of solutions and mentor engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science or related field.
• 8+ years in software engineering focused on backend, automation, or platform development.
• Strong proficiency in Python (or similar) and SQL.
• Experience building automation tools, refactoring codebases, and optimizing production systems.
• Expertise in APIs, microservices, distributed systems, and SDLC best practices.
• Fluent written and oral English communication.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship).

Nice to have

• Experience with delivery workflows, ETL pipelines, CI/CD, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Exposure to AI/LLM tooling, agentic workflows, and observability systems.
• Familiarity with MVVM, front-end frameworks, test automation, and banking domain.
