What you will do

• Design and implement high-performance Python connectors used in both desktop and cloud environments.
• Make architectural decisions that prioritize performance, reliability, and maintainability.
• Integrate complex third-party APIs, managing rate limits, retries, authentication flows, and pagination.
• Diagnose and resolve deep system-level production issues.
• Improve internal standards around code quality, testing, and performance benchmarking.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver robust end-to-end integration solutions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience writing Python in production systems.
• Deep understanding of API integration, including retries, idempotency, observability, and backoff strategies.
• Strong focus on performance at both code and system levels.
• Comfortable working across desktop and cloud environments.
• Ability to comply with U.S. export controls.

Nice to have

• Experience with gRPC and protobuf.
• Experience with Microsoft Graph APIs.
• Familiarity with Docker and GitLab CI.
• Experience building systems that run in both desktop and cloud contexts.
