Director of Sustainment (Aerospace)

Location: Hawthorne, California, United States (onsite)

Salary Range: $175,000 - $220,000

What you will do

• Lead depot and repair operations, owning repair throughput, turnaround time, and fleet readiness metrics.
• Drive field-failure investigations, corrective actions, and coordination.
• Develop spares, obsolescence, and lifecycle support strategies.
• Stand up sustainment SOPs, workflows, and reporting infrastructure.
• Build scalable sustainment systems for fleet growth and operational readiness.
• Coordinate across Manufacturing, Mission Assurance, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Programs.

Requirements

• 10+ years in sustainment, depot operations, repair operations, or lifecycle support.
• 5+ years of leadership experience.
• Experience supporting complex aerospace, defense, RF, or electronics hardware.
• Strong operational leadership capability in high-tempo environments.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting deployed defense systems.
• Familiarity with FRACAS, serialized tracking, and depot repair workflows.
• Experience scaling sustainment organizations.
