Salary: $272,109 - $380,951

What you will do

• Lead the end-to-end architecture and software development for custom ASICs within the TeraWave program.
• Oversee two core pillars: Silicon Systems Architecture (RF, DSP, and communications) and Embedded & Application Software.
• Establish system requirements, interface control documentation, and verification/validation strategies for silicon systems.
• Drive the architecture for custom ASIC and SoC solutions, including digital beamformers, modem SoCs, and RF front-ends.
• Lead DSP algorithm development, waveform design, and communications system architecture.
• Collaborate with hardware, systems, and operations teams to define cross-domain requirements and interface agreements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 15+ years of progressive experience in silicon system architecture, RF/DSP systems, or embedded software.
• 5+ years of experience leading large, multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Demonstrated experience architecting ASICs or SoCs from concept through production.
• Proven track record in delivering real-time embedded software (firmware, L1) for complex silicon platforms.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, or lawfully admitted refugee/asylee

Nice to have

• Master's degree or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
• Experience with Low Earth Orbit (LEO) or Medium Earth Orbit (MEO) satellite constellation development.
• Background in modem SoC or digital beamformer silicon architecture.
• Knowledge of satellite communications standards and phased array antenna systems.
• Experience with cybersecurity principles for embedded and communications systems.
