What you will do

• Direct all Engineering & Technology activities across the portfolio, integrating matrixed resources to ensure technical excellence.
• Lead strategic initiatives in Advanced Communications, AI mission applications, and C2 planning for autonomous systems.
• Drive execution for schedule, cost, and technical objectives across contract, IRAD, and B&P initiatives.
• Manage staffing demand accuracy and align with functional management for supply support.
• Build a robust chief engineer talent pipeline through targeted training and mentorship.
• Champion continuous improvement through process automation and best practice standardization.

Requirements

• Must be a US Citizen with an active Secret security clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or technical discipline.
• Minimum 15 years of professional engineering experience.
• Minimum 10 years of leadership experience leading projects, programs, or management.
• Experience applying Earned Value Management (EVM) principles on major programs.
• Proven capture background, including cost estimating for proposals.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree (M.S. or Ph.D.) in a relevant engineering field.
• Success leading geographically dispersed or remote teams across multiple sites.
• Broad knowledge of Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, and Hardware Development.
• Experience managing cost-plus and fixed-price contracts.
