What you will do

• Implement and maintain platform infrastructure components, such as services, IPC, device interfaces, and data pipelines, using Python and C++ on Linux.
• Integrate hardware components and device firmware interfaces into the production software stack.
• Own and deliver moderately scoped features and components end-to-end.
• Contribute to subsystem design discussions and implementation planning.
• Debug complex issues across process boundaries and components with mentorship.
• Participate in code reviews, integration, testing, and technical documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of relevant experience OR a Master's degree.
• Unrestricted U.S. work authorization is required (sponsorship is not available for this level).
• Strong programming skills in Python and C++.
• Experience with Linux systems programming, including processes, threading, IPC, and networking.
• Solid foundation in software engineering principles, OOP, data structures, algorithms, and memory management.

Nice to have

• Ability to contribute in a mixed Python/C++ environment with Qt/QML.
• Exposure to Docker, CI/CD, or container-based development workflows.
• Familiarity with debugging multi-process, distributed, or device-connected systems.
• Ability to evaluate the quality and correctness of AI-generated code.
