What you will do
- Establish and lead the stock administration function, including policies, processes, and controls.
- Lead the transition from legacy equity platforms to a scalable, public-company-ready equity administration system.
- Design and manage global equity compensation programs, including stock options, RSUs, and ESPP readiness.
- Partner with Finance and Legal to support public-company readiness, disclosures, and SOX compliance.
- Oversee 409A valuation processes and ensure accurate equity accounting in accordance with ASC 718.
- Leverage automation and AI-enabled tools to improve data validation, reconciliation, and reporting efficiency.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in stock administration or equity compensation.
- Proven experience building and scaling an equity function in a high-growth company.
- Direct experience supporting IPO readiness or operating within a public company.
- Deep knowledge of cap table management and regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
- Strong understanding of ASC 718 and internal control frameworks.
- Must be based in the United States.
Nice to have
- Certified Equity Professional (CEP) designation.
- Experience implementing ESPPs or public company equity programs.
- Familiarity with SOX compliance and public-company reporting.
- Experience working in a globally distributed, remote-first organization.
