Salary: $56,700–$70,000 annually

What you will do
- Oversee regulatory compliance team performance, including supervision of coordinators and analysts.
- Maintain business licenses across states, interpret licensing laws, and escalate risks with proposed solutions.
- Communicate with internal departments and external regulators to align operations with enforcement expectations.
- Monitor legislative and regulatory changes, prepare impact assessments, and report to leadership.
- Conduct research, analysis, and summarization of compliance issues; recommend and implement resolutions.
- Support policy development, client reports, and department projects like annual reviews and audits.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in English or similar (or equivalent experience with High School Diploma)
- 3+ years experience maintaining managed care licenses and monitoring regulatory compliance in health insurance
- Strong knowledge of federal (CMS, Medicare Advantage, Medicaid) and state (DMHC) health care regulations
- Paralegal certificate, law degree, or prior staff management preferred
- Excellent research, analytical, and writing skills; proficiency in Excel, SharePoint, CRM
- Ability to manage small teams and handle confidential matters
