What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain internal tooling such as service boilerplates, shared configs, and reusable packages to standardize development.
• Implement self-service workflows for setting up serverless, backend, or frontend services and provisioning third-party tools.
• Improve CI/CD infrastructure, build scripts, CircleCI pipelines, and release practices for reliable, scalable deployments.
• Contribute to frontend platform architecture, shared libraries, and microfrontend support.
• Define testing strategies and tooling across layers, ensuring testability in boilerplates.
• Promote engineering standards for code quality, security, and observability; own AI agent workflows for automating development tasks.

Requirements

• Expert in TypeScript/JavaScript on Node.js (NestJS).
• Extensive knowledge of npm ecosystem and modern JavaScript tooling.
• Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), modern API design, and microservices architecture.
• Experience building and maintaining CI pipelines (CircleCI, GitHub Actions).
• Experience with testing strategies (Jest, Vitest, Playwright) and infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible).
• Experience deploying on Kubernetes and AWS; using AI coding agents (Claude, Cursor, GitHub Copilot).
• Strong ownership, communication, organization, and developer experience evangelism skills.

Nice to have

• Interest in data science, AI, and education.
• Experience with DX metrics (DORA, SPACE), OpenTelemetry, Ruby on Rails, microfrontends, MarTech, or ISO27001 compliance.
