What you will do

• Design and ship end-to-end billing and payment capabilities, including wallet management, fraud controls, and reconciliation.
• Develop secure backend systems where data integrity and auditability are paramount for critical payments data.
• Integrate with third-party payment providers to ensure a seamless user experience.
• Scale the payments platform to handle increased volume and complexity as hirify.global expands to new cities.
• Collaborate with Product and Finance teams to translate business needs into robust technical solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of experience programming in backend coding languages.
• Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems.
• Excellent collaboration skills to work with cross-functional partners.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Warsaw, Poland.

Nice to have

• Experience in C++.
• Familiarity with Google infrastructure (e.g., Flume, Borg, Protocol Buffers, OnePlatform).
• Experience with payments, billing, or fintech systems where correctness is non-negotiable.
