What you will do

• Design, develop and implement robust API services for the growing European customer base
• Lead architecture designs and product roadmap creation
• Research and adopt new technologies and best practices to drive innovation
• Analyze complex ecosystem, determine optimal approaches and drive changes
• Mentor and coach engineers, contribute to code reviews and technical designs
• Debug issues across the application stack and collaborate with engineers, PMs and stakeholders

Requirements

• Legal authorization to work in Poland required; no visa sponsorship
• Extensive experience building backend services professionally
• Deep knowledge of software design patterns, API design and development lifecycle
• Proven ability to influence architecture of complex distributed systems
• Understanding of REST, service-based architecture and distributed systems
• Experience with Java, SQL and AWS
• Strong analytical, problem-solving skills and mentoring track record

Nice to have

• Experience with Elasticsearch
• Interest or experience in financial industry or wealth management
