TL;DR

SAP UAT Manager (SAP): Leading the end-to-end User Acceptance Testing for a large-scale SAP upgrade programme with an accent on test planning, execution, and defect management. Focus on coordinating business stakeholders and SMEs to ensure seamless transitions from SIT to production.

Location: Minimum 3 days onsite per week in Dublin

Salary: £500 - £650 per day (Inside IR35)

What you will do

  • Own the end-to-end UAT approach, including planning, preparation, execution, and closure.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and release teams to ensure UAT aligns with overall delivery milestones.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, SMEs, and end users to define UAT scope, test scenarios, and acceptance criteria.
  • Lead and support business testers throughout the UAT execution phase.
  • Oversee defect management, including triage, prioritisation, and validation of fixes.
  • Manage the transition from SIT into UAT and from UAT into production.

Requirements

  • Strong SAP UAT experience (SAP upgrades or implementations essential).
  • Must be able to work onsite in Dublin at least 3 days per week.
  • Proven experience managing UAT on large-scale business or IT transformation programmes.
  • Deep understanding of SDLC and the integration of UAT with SIT and release management.
  • Hands-on experience with test and defect management tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, or ALM.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all levels.

  • Exposure to SAP IBP for Response and Supply Planning.
