What you will do

• Design and document application test strategies, plans, and cases for the platform.
• Implement and maintain test coverage, including functional, integration, and regression testing.
• Develop and execute performance tests to validate production readiness and system stability.
• Analyze performance data using tools like AppDynamics and Fiddler to identify and troubleshoot bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with development and architecture teams to resolve complex technical issues.
• Provide mentorship on performance engineering and automation frameworks within an Agile team.

Requirements

• 5-10 years of experience in application QA within complex web and mobile environments.
• Strong proficiency in performance testing tools, specifically JMeter.
• Experience with test automation frameworks and programming languages, preferably C# and Playwright.
• Solid understanding of databases, including SQL and NoSQL.
• Knowledge of CI/CD workflows and professional software testing best practices.
• Must be based in or able to work from Galway, Ireland, with a 3-day in-office requirement.

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud architecture and deployment in AWS or Azure.
• Background in security testing.
• Experience with exploratory testing methodologies.
