What you will do

• Manage news stories from initial concept through to broadcast or publication.
• Produce content for the flagship television news show hirify.global South Today.
• Write online articles and create video content for social media platforms.
• Collaborate with digital, television, and radio teams to ensure an integrated storytelling approach.
• Research stories, book guests, and coordinate with reporters.

Requirements

• Must identify as deaf, disabled, or neurodivergent (part of the hirify.global Extend programme).
• Strong journalistic skills with experience delivering news to strict deadlines.
• Ability to produce accurate, creative, and concise news content.
• Proven track record of generating original news ideas and stories.
• Strong editorial judgement and a solid understanding of legal and editorial issues.
