What you will do

• Build automation tools in Go to accelerate troubleshooting and scale across thousands of hirify.global instances.
• Replace manual operations and ad-hoc scripts with codified, predictable, and repeatable systems.
• Own and evolve incident response tooling, focusing on clear alerting and blameless reviews.
• Define and act on SLIs and SLOs to integrate reliability as a shared, data-driven product feature.
• Shape an observability stack using OTel, Prometheus, and Grafana to detect and resolve issues early.

Requirements

• Strong backend development skills in Go, with an emphasis on sound architecture and maintainability.
• Proven experience applying SRE practices (SLIs/SLOs, toil reduction) in real-world environments.
• Experience deploying and managing applications on Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in managing infrastructure with Terraform and Kustomize.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions.
• Location: Must be based in London for a hybrid work arrangement
