What you will do

• Own architecture and evolution of Power BI platform including workspace governance, capacity management, and tenant configuration.
• Implement IaC for Power BI and Azure services using Terraform and Bicep; automate provisioning, access control, and policy enforcement.
• Define CI/CD pipelines for Power BI artifacts following DevOps best practices.
• Establish monitoring, observability for usage, performance, and data lineage.
• Collaborate with data and engineering teams to integrate Power BI with Lakehouse, SQL/NoSQL, and streaming.
• Lead incident response, post-mortems, SLOs/SLIs, and influence platform roadmap.

Requirements

• 4–8 years in data engineering, BI platform administration, or DevOps.
• Proven experience managing enterprise Power BI environments, governance, and automation.
• Strong Power BI architecture knowledge: workspaces, capacities, gateways, dataflows, deployment pipelines.
• Deep IaC experience (Terraform, Bicep) and policy-as-code (Azure Policy, OPA).
• Proficiency in DevOps: CI/CD, version control, automated testing, release management.
• Cloud data systems (Azure Synapse, Databricks, Delta Lake, SQL/NoSQL); observability tools; security/compliance (RBAC, GDPR).
