What you will do

• Research, compile, evaluate information, and design large complex systems and processes to meet business needs.
• Construct, modify, test system changes, and diagnose complex problems with timely quality solutions including production support.
• Provide thorough documentation for programming changes and enhancements.
• Understand customer business needs, deliver quality support, anticipate issues, and suggest process improvements.
• Perform project management for technical aspects of large projects and ensure task delivery per plan.
• Provide leadership, expertise in key areas, feedback to peers, and assist in skill development.

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of experience as a Software Engineer
• Bachelor’s degree or greater preferred
• Extensive experience with COBOL, VSAM, Oracle, Unix, XML, Java, and Web Services development preferred
• Knowledge of The Administrator (ADMI) and/or Titanium systems ideal
• Familiarity with annuity and VUL products, accounting, claims, and finance preferred
