What you will do

• Lead PR strategy including proactive media outreach, reputation management, and on-message storytelling across platforms.
• Provide strategic PR consultation to chapters for local media engagement with national alignment.
• Assess reputational risks and execute crisis communications strategies with leadership.
• Manage PR for national corporate partnerships, co-branded announcements, and executive messaging.
• Develop integrated social, owned, and earned media strategies with digital teams.
• Oversee National Communications team operations, budgeting, staffing, and performance management.

Requirements

• Seven or more years in public relations or communications, including media strategy and press releases.
• Five or more years in crisis and issues management.
• Two or more years leading and mentoring PR professionals.
• Success building national media relationships and positioning stories for visibility.
• Experience with corporate partnerships, executive communications, and integrated programs across channels.
• Proficiency in earned media monitoring and analytics tools.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Ability to thrive remotely with up to 25% travel and occasional non-standard hours.
