What you will do

• Develop special effects with particle systems, post-processing, shaders, and materials in Unity, Unreal, and Roblox engines.
• Produce required assets including 3D modeling, UV mapping, texturing, and material setup using Maya, 3ds Max, Blender, Photoshop, and Substance Designer.
• Identify client and departmental needs, translate into high-quality visuals, and reconcile requirements across design, art, and engineering.
• Adapt to various visual styles, game genres, and platforms while maintaining performance and quality.
• Communicate progress, share knowledge through reports, documentation, and tutorials on trends, tools, and strategies.
• Stay updated on art styles, gaming tech, and tools to enhance production efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Art, Design, Computer Graphics, or related field.
• Experience in gaming industry as Tech Artist, 3D Artist, or Programmer.
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Substance Designer, Substance Painter.
• Proficiency in at least one 3D package: 3ds Max, Maya, or Blender.
• Proficiency in Material Editors and Particle Editors for Unity, Unreal (desirable for Roblox).
• Basic knowledge of animation principles (timing, speed, keyframes).
• Experience with version control: Perforce, Git, or SVN.

Nice to have

• Task automation skills (MAXScript, MEL, Python, Photoshop Actions, Unreal Utility Widgets).
