What you will do

• Design lighting that aligns with art direction and client expectations while supporting other departments' work.
• Develop realistic lighting schemes based on scene scenery, mood, and art direction needs.
• Collaborate with Art Directors and client representatives to ensure quality standards are met.
• Balance high visual quality with strict technical performance requirements.
• Create and estimate tasks for the Lighting Art team and fix lighting-related bugs.
• Optimize lighting outputs to fit engine technical limitations.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a Lighting Artist in the game industry, including senior or lead-level responsibilities.
• At least one shipped title in your portfolio.
• Extensive knowledge of color theory, lighting, and composition.
• Proficiency in UE4 lighting techniques; knowledge of UE5 (Lumen, VSM, Nanite) is a bonus.
• Experience with DCC tools (Maya, 3ds Max, or Blender) and 2D/3D tools like Photoshop and Substance.
• Must be based in or able to work on-site in Yerevan, Armenia.

Nice to have

• Experience in photography.
• Background in other areas of computer graphics.
• Ability to create concept art.
