What you will do
- Familiarize with the show and audience to time posts and select topics effectively.
- Extract and package clips from daily podcast for social channels and YouTube.
- Create simple graphics, thumbnails, and perform basic video editing tasks like vertical conversions for Reels.
- Pitch daily news stories and segments in theology/politics relevant to listeners.
- Collaborate on titles, descriptions, content selection, and SEO with supervising producer.
- Assist in guest chasing and other production duties as assigned.
Requirements
- This position is located in Dallas, TX
- 1-2 years of related production experience on podcasts or news shows preferred
- Proven editorial judgement and viral content identification skills
- Strong understanding of cultural, faith, political, and news media landscapes
- Strong writing skills and high attention to detail
- Experience with Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Premiere) and basic editing
