Salary: $17.95/hour for 30 hours/week

What you will do

• Assist with podcast, video, and social media production for the multimedia team.
• Support development and distribution of podcast/social video content including clipping, asset gathering, metadata writing, and publishing.
• Identify strong moments from podcasts, interviews, and events for social/YouTube clips.
• Record podcast audio/video in Riverside and edit in Premiere.
• Provide general editorial and multimedia support to producers, editors, and team members.

Requirements

• Current enrollment in undergraduate or master’s program (graduating 2026 eligible)
• Strong interest in journalism, podcasting, digital video, and media landscape
• Familiarity with American politics, news, and public affairs
• Hands-on experience with audio, video, or social content production
• Basic proficiency with tools like ProTools, Adobe Audition/Premiere, Descript, Riverside, Canva
• Strong organizational skills, deadline management, and communication in fast-paced environment
