Location: Hybrid (NJ); Must be based in or be able to work from the Englewood Cliffs, NJ office a minimum of three days per week

Salary: $65,000–$80,000

What you will do

• Produce stories for CNBC's daily live Business Day programs.
• Create written content and visual elements, including onscreen graphics and soundbites, for live reports and edited packages.
• Monitor breaking news events and produce content rapidly across a range of topics.
• Research business and financial trends, analyzing quarterly reports and analyst notes.
• Write and produce news updates for smart home connected devices like Amazon Alexa and Google Home.
• Contribute content to CNBC.com and official social media channels.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• 2 years of experience in television production (internships or college stations included).
• Working knowledge of financial, business, political, and hard news content.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and newsroom systems, specifically iNews.
• Strong knowledge of social media platforms including Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram.
