What you will do

• Design and develop advanced mathematical, simulation, and optimization models for inventory management and distribution.
• Apply linear, quadratic, stochastic, and mixed-integer programming to create optimal solution methodologies.
• Research and prototype models using Python and participate in production-level deployment.
• Create technical documentation and present findings to Scientists, Product, and Engineering teams.
• Lead project plans by managing product features, technical risks, and launch milestones.
• Influence the long-term scientific roadmap and mentor other Scientists.

Requirements

• PhD, or Master's degree with 4+ years of experience in science, technology, or engineering.
• 3+ years of experience building models for business applications.
• Proficiency in Java, C++, Python, or related languages.
• Expertise in algorithms, data structures, numerical optimization, or distributed computing.
• Must be based in or authorized to work in Seattle, WA, USA

Nice to have

• Experience with optimization tools like CPLEX, Gurobi, or XPRESS.
• Experience deploying and managing AI products at scale.
• PhD in math, statistics, or a quantitative discipline.
