What you will do

• Lead mechanical design for equipment, subassemblies, and components within New Product Development (NPD) projects.
• Perform analytical studies and calculations regarding vacuum vessels, heat transfer, fluid dynamics, and motion mechanisms.
• Define mechanical design specifications and ensure strict compliance with SEMI practices and safety codes.
• Develop test plans and design of experiments, staying directly involved in prototype development and testing.
• Manage engineering documentation through the ECO process and coordinate with procurement to meet deadlines.
• Mentor junior engineers by providing design reviews and guidance.

Requirements

• BS in Mechanical Engineering with 8+ years of experience, or MS with 6+ years of experience.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD systems such as SolidWorks, Inventor, or Creo.
• Required expertise in structural and thermal Finite Element Analysis (FEA).
• Knowledge of semiconductor equipment design, including RF systems, plasma chambers, and ESCs.
• Must be able to work hands-on with devices and travel up to 20% to customer or supplier sites.
