What you will do

• Design, prototype, and build next-generation broadband plasma (BBP) wafer inspection opt-mechanical assemblies.
• Utilize CAD and simulation tools like Creo and ANSYS to guide and implement mechanical designs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams of systems, optical, electrical, and software engineers to optimize product quality.
• Work with manufacturing and support organizations to ensure smooth product launches and resolve technical issues.

Requirements

• Full-time onsite presence in Milpitas, CA is required.
• Proven track record of successful opto-mechanical designs from requirements phase through to production release.
• Strong proficiency in CAD software (Creo preferred).
• Expertise in tolerance analysis, optical mounting, alignment, and actuator selection.
• Educational background: Bachelor's with 8+ years experience, Master's with 6+ years, or PhD with 3+ years of related experience.
