What you will do

• Design and maintain real-time simulation environments within NVIDIA Omniverse, including USD scene construction and rendering pipelines.
• Develop custom Omniverse extensions and microservices to integrate BIM, IoT, and EHR-adjacent operational data.
• Implement autonomous agent behaviors and crowd simulation for clinical and facilities scenarios.
• Optimize simulation performance for delivery via Mixed Reality (MR) and Virtual Reality (VR).
• Build pipelines to synchronize physical-world sensor feeds and spatial data with digital twin representations.
• Collaborate with clinical and research stakeholders to translate real-world requirements into anatomically accurate virtual environments.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in CS/Engineering with 5+ years of experience, or an Associate's degree with 7+ years of experience.
• Strong proficiency in high-level languages such as C, C++, Golang, Java, or C#.
• Must be based in the United States.
• Not eligible for visa sponsorship; will not sponsor or transfer visas or participate in the F-1 STEM OPT extension.
• Experience with professional software engineering practices, including CI/CD, code reviews, and Agile methodologies.
• Proven ability to design and implement scalable software solutions.

Nice to have

• Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Robotics, or Biomedical Engineering.
• Direct production experience with NVIDIA Omniverse Kit SDK and custom extension development.
• Knowledge of Azure cloud services (Azure Digital Twins, IoT Hub, AKS).
• Experience with XR delivery platforms such as HoloLens, Quest, or Vision Pro.
• Familiarity with HIPAA, SOC 2, and healthcare data governance.
