Salary: $142,000 - $158,000 CAD per year

What you will do

• Execute tasks across the software development life cycle and iterate on requirements with business stakeholders.
• Develop clean, efficient code for tools and applications.
• Automate repetitive tasks through scripting and appropriate tooling.
• Analyze, debug, and perform validation testing using a TDD approach.
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to fix and improve product functionality.
• Perform peer code reviews and maintain the tech stack with the latest technologies.

Requirements

• Experience writing clean, scalable code using Java and Spring Boot.
• In-depth knowledge of relational databases, specifically Microsoft SQL Server or MySQL.
• Solid experience designing and writing RESTful API endpoints.
• Practical knowledge of and passion for Test-Driven Development (TDD).
• Proficiency with GIT and system monitoring tools such as New Relic or DataDog.
• BSc/BA in Computer Science or a related degree.

Nice to have

• Experience with UI frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Cloud expertise with AWS or Azure services.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Istio, and Ansible.
• Knowledge of Jenkins CI/CD pipelines and scripting languages (Python, Bash, Groovy).
• Experience working on a SaaS product and understanding of Service Oriented Architecture.
