Salary: $23.00 - $24.00 Hourly

What you will do
- Answer incoming calls and resolve problems related to coverage, claims, and billing.
- Document all interactions according to department protocols to ensure high service level standards.
- Obtain and present comparative quotes for personal lines insurance including automobile, homeowners, and renters.
- Audit insurance applications for accuracy and manage new business pending files.
- Escalate service errors or anomalies to supervisors for prompt resolution.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- 2+ years of experience in customer service or sales, preferably in the insurance industry.
- Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- NYS Property & Casualty or Personal Lines license or the ability to become licensed within 90 days of hire.
- Must be based in New York.
