What you will do

• Answer incoming calls and resolve problems related to coverage, claims, and billing.
• Document all interactions according to department protocols to ensure high service level standards.
• Obtain and present comparative quotes for personal lines insurance including automobile, homeowners, and renters.
• Audit insurance applications for accuracy and manage new business pending files.
• Escalate service errors or anomalies to supervisors for prompt resolution.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of experience in customer service or sales, preferably in the insurance industry.
• Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• NYS Property & Casualty or Personal Lines license or the ability to become licensed within 90 days of hire.
• Must be based in New York.
